Can you handle the SIMP??
The Steve Irwin Memorial Pitch (the SIMP) is incredibly varied, intimidating, and memorable. This ascends the puckering overhang by sneaking by it’s right flank. Then launches onward up the jagged arete with lots of air below and great views.
Begin just right of the dihedral up a short finger section to gain the dihedral. Climb hands and wide hands to a large ledge rest out right. Procrastinate entering the chimney as long as you can then shuffle in when ready, helpful crimps make this less of a true offwidth than it appears. A couple bolts protect the transition to the steep blocky terrain and to aid with cleaning your pieces.
Mantle onto a slab stance and soak in the exposure. Climb up easier terrain until forced left around the arete at the perma. Big moves on big holds leads to the “gargoyle ledge” mantle. One more full value crux guards the anchor.
The gear climbing section is 10a at most, extending some low pieces helps with drag obviously. Having a buddy clean on follow is best.
