[Hide Comment] I think the difficulty and therefore the crux is down low and one needs to stay on the face (avoid going round that right edge (arete)), even with just your hands. Definitely changes the route to like a 5.8 if you use that edge. IMO. If you feel safer, since the crux is down low, clip from the chimney, then restart. Jul 24, 2025
