Description

Mega classic! Start on the obvious hueco and do big moves on good holds until you reach the crux at the lip, do a classic granite mantle and then take the victory whip!

At lower tides it’s best to find a big log and use it as a plank to reach the start. At higher tides it’s best to have a paddle board or the like.

Better to go at medium to high tide to make it less spicy.

Location

From the pullout go down the trail until you reach the tracks. The go the opposite direction from the tunnel (do NOT go near the tunnel) until you can go down the rock towards the big UFO looking boulder.

Protection

Water!

[Hide Comment] Just tides. If you don’t have a kayak/raft then low tide… you can just google it… i don’t remember what numbers correlate to low enough tide. I’ll try and find my video that showed off my log start configuration Apr 8, 2024

[Hide Comment] Could be an incredibly silly question since I'm sure it depends on the person: is there a minimum temp to even bother checking this out? I'm coming in early June I'm sure there's some variance in temperature. May 31, 2025
[Hide Comment] Careful with the cliff dives if it's anything other than high tide. Took a leap yesterday, at mid/low tide and ended up bashing my foot on an underwater rock maybe 1.5~2m below the surface. No major damage but it tore open a big flap of skin on my heel. Jul 14, 2025

[Hide Comment] Is there any way of getting to this via public transport? Jul 17, 2025

[Hide Comment] Hey Jonah — there isn't public transit that could get you here. I'd hitch a ride with someone to get there. It's like a lot / pullout south of Britannia Beach. Sep 1, 2025
