Description Suggest change

This is the full direct route of Diamond in the Rough. It generally follows the Fat City rappel line.
Involves three distinct cruxes each one is easier the higher you go. Climb up an easy slab to the roof. Climb into the roof and then pull hard on horribly small rounded crimps and decent side-pulls to get to a decent horizontal crack. From here follow a vertical crack/ right-facing flake system to the next roof. Move right through this roof to get to an awesome jug horizontal. Make a big Throw to some good holds and follow easy, balancy terrain to the final steep head-wall. Tiny crimps get you to more jugs and the chains

Location Suggest change

Generally follows the Fat City bolted rappel line.

Protection Suggest change

Anchor bolts for most. The beginning takes ridiculously small RP's that will fall out if you look at them wrong. the rest takes a standard rack.
