Description

The extreme precipitation of winter 2023 mostly ruined the bishop climbing season, but left a small gift in condolence. The ground of the acid wash cave was washed out ~4 feet lower than its prior level, revealing a continuous overhang connecting to the Slow Dance cave, adding a new lower start to the Acid Wash climbs. Adds a two move ~V8 into the Acid Wash sit. Linking with the right feels like V10, linking with the left feels like V11.

Unfortunately, I don’t know if anything else goes even lower down — or rather, there are a few holds, and it’d be super hard, but I think the ground is still too high to avoid butt-dragging.

Location

Start at the thin undercling down and right of the original acid washing starting crimp.
