CLOSED: Forestry Closure Update - FULL WEST SIDE CLOSURE begins 12/11.
The west side of the park will be completely closed for forest health mitigation until further notice (~mid-2024, weather-dependent). The west trailhead parking lot will remain open for access to the south. Trails impacted by closure: Mountain Muhly Trail, Bearberry Trail, Homestead Trail, Silver Fox Trail, Ponderosa Trail, and the majority of Sisters Trail. 2023 ALD Forestry - a map of the Second Segment Closure (PDF) can be found through the link above.
The eastern side of the park and trailhead have reopened following completed forestry work in that area.
Description
Start on same line that has been done as a lower start to Skipper, down in the cave on a couple jugs. Toe hook the lip to start, and move up and right on an amazing sequence of slopers, crimps, and peculiar jugs.
I have been climbing at Three Sisters for over a decade and have never seen this line be clean/ have chalk on the holds. Regardless, let me know if anyone wants to claim the FA.
Location
It is on the same boulder as Skipper. Located on the north west side of Gilligan's Island, this problem is on the north side of the Homestead Trail. As you start to come out of the woods and see the field out in front of you, keep looking to your left.
