The Explosive Child

V1+ R, TR, Boulder, 20 ft (6 m),  Avg: 3 from 1 vote
FA: Kim Robichaud 3/10
Maine > h. Bangor Area > Dedham Bouldering > Sunset Hill

Description

Offwidth crack that can be climbed with a toprope (tree anchor about 30 ft from cliff edge, or a couple big cams #2-4) or a highball boulder with lots of pads. Laybacking to the right seemed liked the easiest way to do it. Due for a cleaning inside and out. Thanks to Ben and Robert for putting up the FA information.

Location

Obvious crack that runs up the front face facing the road. Labeled on the map as "The Explosive Child".

Protection

Pads or top rope
