Description Suggest change

Climb broken rock to a ledge below the corner. The first section of the corner is the most sustained, with consistent 0.75 camalot sized jamming in a featureless slot. Cleverly use the slot for chimney rests, and this section will feel easier. Neglect the chimney technique, and it will feel quite a bit harder. After the first 30 feet, a rest appears on the left, and the slot begins to turn into a more traditional corner. There is an offwidth at mid-height (#5 camalot helpful) followed by a jamming and layback corner with frequent rests. Finally, surmount a hands to thin hands roof and clip the anchor. Fun climb!

Location Suggest change

Right facing corner roughly half way between Neutron Dance and Octopussy.

Protection Suggest change

The Kelley guidebook says 0.5-1 & 5, mostly 0.5 and 0.75, but I only placed 2 0.5s and that was only because I had a bunch and wanted to hold onto the 0.75s. It’s mostly 0.75 size. My recommended rack would be mostly 0.75s (6-8), 2x 0.5, 4x 1, 2x 2, 1x 5. The roof at the top takes a 3 further down on a sling (not necessary), a 2 around the lip, or a 1 above the lip. All sizes in camalots.
