The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description
This is the easy flake/ramp to the left of Helga and Sven. Obvious line heading to 2 bolt anchor.
I OS soloed this line because I saw the chains a few years ago and was curious what it was, not too sure about pro. I do however think it'd be a little flakey rock..
But I suppose worth a burn if climbing on the formation or if you have the campsite and your kids are with you or something.
