Description Suggest change

I am adding this incase other parties find themselves in a similar situation as we did. I’m sure this variation has been done before. Or maybe not. Hopefully it will save someone a rap back to the correct P4 end of tunnel vision.

This route continues up the face above p4 tunnel vision. We ended P4 tunnel vision ~20 ft higher than the intended ledge. From here continue climbing another ~20-30ft using the easiest route on the slaby face. Once you reach the crux roof pull of stilgar traverse left through the tunnel. The traverse puts you midway up P6 of tunnel vision and you can either build a belay ledge or continue up to the summit.

Location Suggest change

Just above P4 tunnel vision

Protection Suggest change

If you stick to the huge OW/chimney that is Stilgars there are a few placements for cams, if you climb the slab and use the juggy holds there is no pro until after the traverse
