Description Suggest change

This route begins at the bolted anchor above the first pitch of Nickel and Dime and can be accessed via Nickel and Dime pitch #1 or Big Al’s Supercrack.

From the bolted anchor, step right and follow a crack system up the main buttress until it blanks out, at which point it’s possible to quest straight up, mostly unprotected, on in-cut face holds to a the top out ledges above.

Be mindful of loose rock, detached blocks and most notably, a dubious left-leaning microwave-size block to climber’s-left as you mantle the final ledges.

It’s worth noting, this line requires very specific, small gear to protect reasonably and even then may leave you wanting for something.

Location Suggest change

This second pitch climb follows the crack system just right of the second pitch Nickel and Dime.

Protection Suggest change

A range of brass offsets and microcams (including BD Z4 .0 or equivalent which you may want to double up), and a single rack of cams from .4 on up to 2”.

There is no bolted anchor at the top. Expect to leave your own tat or walk off. 2 raps to the ground using a 70M. Knot your ends.
