for the extension put an alpine on the lead bolt above the chains and continue through the wide crack system with two more cruxes separated by ledges up to a two bolt anchor equipped with carabiners. I gave this route an R rating due to the rock fall while climbing this route helmets are a good idea I got all the big blocks I could and tried getting most of it but its sandstone so I'm sure more will break belayer can hide around the corner to belay and you should be ready for some sand and choss if you pull the extension but the first crux on the extension is well protected and very good movement.
