Description Suggest change

If you want to summit the Devil's Advocate, but don't have a partner and don't want to solo the steep 5.4, this is the route for you! It gets 1 star and not a bomb, since it is an easy way to summit the feature without a rope.

The first 10 feet are on clean rock with juggy holds. From there, make your way up and left through very healthy lichen. As you approach the roof near the top, you can either friction your way through more lichen, or climb slightly downhill and east over a small bulge. From here, there is a squeeze move that gets you onto the East Face.

Location Suggest change

It is on the North face of the Devil's Advocate about 50' downhill (east) of Knots-feratu.

Protection Suggest change

A standard Flatirons rack.
