Description

A relatively moderate intro is brought to an abrupt halt at the 4th bolt. Pull a stout crux to get past a bulge. Once you have navigated this obstacle you can get your feet back under you and prepare to pass one more bulge to gain the upper slab and the anchor. Much harder than it looks but easier than we thought it would be… make sense of that.

Jay and Mike put some time into this one before abandoning it for other interests. Jay was insistent that it should be called The Pickle after the pickle shaped green spot near the beginning of the route. In fact he wanted to call the whole cliff the pickle. Much to his chagrin, the cliff got a fanciful dreamy name, and so to a lesser extent did the route. But I’m happy to give it an aka pickle name.

Location

On the right side of Enchanted forest there is a moderate crack in a groove (Old and Enchanted). This line is just left of that crack.

[Hide Comment] Super psyched to tried this thing! Happy to share beta when I climb it again. Very delicate. Not straight up into the right hand Gaston above the crux bolt. I remember that being tempting but really really hard. May 30, 2023
