If you use chalk on the rock, brush it off when you are done. If you use tick marks, brush them off when you are done. Wipe your feet off prior to each climbing attempt. Excess chalk and any dirt, leaves, or mud can polish holds over time. Do not drag your pad from one climb to the next (in order to minimize erosion). And most importantly, Leave No Trace. Pick up your trash and place it in the trash cans at the trail head.
Description
Start up good holds to a small overhang that's slopey on top. Climb left (around the overhang), right (on jugs), or straight over (harder mantle move) the overhang before finishing up through easy terrain forming a notch near the top of the block.
Found this in an old guide that calls this route either Corrosion Direct (5.3) or Corrosion Wall (5.2) the route descriptions seem a little off and the grades are definitely old school. New guidebook ("True Grit" by Rick Thompson, published by Sharp End Publishing) gives it a 5.4.
Corrosion Wall seems to climb the juggier terrain to the right and then shares a finish with this route past the small slopey overhang.
