Description

Eurasian eyes climbs one of the most striking features on the chief, a clean and gently overhung arete on the far left side of the bulletheads. While you can start at the second ledge for the original line, I highly recommend taking the direct start (same grade). Dispatch a tricky boulder problem down low, shake out on the ledge, and briefly pull right onto Caucasian Eyes until the 5th bolt is reached. Return to the left side of the arete and finesse your way to the top with a mixture of face holds and the arete. It can be helpful to extend the 7th and 8th bolts.

Location

Hard to miss, it’s the first thing you see after ascending the gully to the ledge.

Protection

8 bolts. A couple optional cams .75-2” can be used to protect the easy but runout climbing between bolt 4 and 5.
