Description

Super fun boulder with two halves of very different styles. Sit-start matched on the juggy ledge in the cave (see photo); muscle or lever your way out of there onto the main face and then go straight up using the central vein crack. You can get a nice rest before doing the slab section.

Last couple moves are the crux. Easier variation is if you go right all the way over to the arete

There is potential for some bad falls on the high slabby part (though several falls from the top before the FA were fine). You definitely want a spotter to keep you from flying down the hill, and I recommend taking a close look at the high holds from the top of it before giving it a send go. All that said, it's a great line with some fun beta possibilities.

Location

Climbs the right side of the Leaf Boulder. The top half follows the obvious central vein. The start is in the mini-cave to the right of the tree (see photo)

Protection

at least 1 pad and a spotter
