Description

Climb a series of blocky cracks along the right side of the face, passing on the left side of several small pines growing out of ledges.

Location

This route follows the right side of the clear face below the highest knob of the main crag. This face is the 3rd clear face of 5 from climber's left and just above an approach that skirts climber's left of the lower slab.

Protection

There are trees at the top that can be used for top-rope anchors, but they are far back from the edge. A long static line is recommended.

Names

(This is called "Route 7" in the 2012 Tough Schist by Travis Peckham and "Goldfinch" in Peckham's new 2022 edition, Vermont Rock.)
