Description Suggest change

Route is named for the coyote den in the area and sheep grazing while we climbed.

Rock can be fragile so choose your holds carefully. The crux is about half way up where the slight overhang begins.

Location Suggest change

Walk behind the Stout Wanker formation and go towards the large crack on the headwall of Coyote Rocks. There is already an established trail to this crack.

Walking through the crack between a large, slightly separated spire brings you right to a beautiful dolomite crack running straight to the top of this formation.

Protection Suggest change

Standard Rack & Slings for anchor on top.

Needles style rappel with a 70m rope or down climbing the 5.4 face on the West side of the tower will get you down.
