Ce site d'escalade est situé sur un terrain privé qui est englobé par la ZEC, mais avec des dates de chasse souvent différentes de celles de la ZEC. Le propriétaire du terrain nous a averti, si lui ou ses amis nous voient passer sur son terrain durant ces dates, il va remettre en question notre accès. Alors, de ne pas y aller pendant la chasse est un moindre mal en échange d'un accès libre le reste de l'année.
The site is closed during the firearm hunting season, which extends from Saturday, September 30, 2023, to Sunday, October 15, 2023, inclusively.
This climbing area is located on private land that is covered by the ZEC, but with hunting dates that are often different from those of the ZEC. The landowner has warned us that if he or his friends see us on his land during these dates, he will question our access. So, not going during hunting season is a lesser evil in exchange for free access the rest of the year.
Description
P1 (5.9 +, 60m, 8 scellements)
Aller un peu vers la gauche à partir du relais de "Babouines coquines" pour grimper la fissure au dessus du bouleau. Il est conseillé de placer peu de protections dans la fissure pour éviter une friction importante rendu plus haut. Dans l'alcôve, lorsque la fissure part plus rapidement vers la droite, rejoindre le premier scellement. Il est possible de couper la longueur en deux avec un relais sur protections pour éviter la friction plus haut.
Go to the left from the "Babouines coquines" anchor to climb the crack above the birch tree. It is recommended to place few protections in the crack to avoid a significant friction further up the route. In the alcove, when the crack goes towards the right, reach the first glue-in. It is possible to cut the pitch in two with a trad anchor to avoid friction higher up.
P2 (5.9 , 25m, 5 scellements)
Suivre la ligne de scellements qui va vers la gauche pour rejoindre le petit arche. Longueur plus technique qu'en adhérence.
Follow the bolts that go to the left to reach the small arch. This pitch is more technical than pure friction.
P3 (5.11a/b, 35m, 9 scellements)
Suivre la ligne de scellements qui va en ligne droite. Le crux de la longueur est très court, mais très délicat sur de minuscules pieds. Il faut se garder un camalot no 1 pour la fin avant le relais.
Follow the bolts that go in a straight line. The crux of the pitch is very short, but very tricky on small feet. Save a no 1 camalot for the end before the anchor.
Location
Le début du sentier est marqué par une ouverture dans la forêt. À la seule intersection, prendre à droite et poursuivez sur environ 100 m et tourner à gauche pour monter vers la dalle perceptible entre les arbres. Le secteur est une grande dalle propre parsemée de plusieurs fissures. Il faut d'abord grimper la voie "Babouines coquines" pour acéder à l'Iliade.
The beginning of the trail is marked by an opening in the forest. At the single junction, take the right and continue for about 100 m then turn left to walk to the perceptible slab between the trees. The area is a large clean slab with several cracks. You must first climb the "Babouines coquines" route to reach l'Iliade.
