Description

Pull up onto a face to follow a short crack to the right of the bolt line then back left across the face on a series of shallow but positive pockets, clipping an extended chain permadraw on the way, eventually reaching jugs and plates to exit out from under a small roof onto the face above.  Fun, easy climbing on jugs, plates and iron oxide ridges from there to the anchors.

Location

Walk behind a boulder and start above the undercut through the left side of a roof.

Protection

10 bolts to mussy hook anchors.

[Hide Comment] Super fun bouldery crux getting around the arete. Heady but engaging. A good shake out leads to fun jugs to the top. Questionable rock quality up high but will continue to clean up. Hang an alpine on the bolts before and after the chain draw to help with rope drag. Not too bad if you don’t however. Sep 12, 2022

[Hide Comment] Best 11 at the cliff, 3.5 stars! I’ll prob come back and put some perms on the bolts before the roof. Nov 4, 2022

[Hide Comment] Nice one. Mega rope drag pulling the rope / cleaning. Maybe lower the anchor to the last bolt? Cleaning perma would be more useful down one bolt or up two bolts (current location sucks you into the wall too much). Dec 14, 2024
