Most of the 14-acre property at Hanging Mountain has been designated as Priority Habitat by MassWildlife’s Natural Heritage & Endangered Species Program (NHESP). As a result, Hanging Mountain and any work performed there is heavily regulated to ensure that the WMCC is in compliance with the Massachusetts Endangered Species Act and Wetlands Protection Act.

Description
In the guidebook, it says the crux is right at the first bolt, although I thought the move around the arete at the second to last bolt was harder. You decide. Follow the the middle line of bolts up to a ledge. Continue climbing up the arete towards the bolted anchor. The exposure is exciting on the arete as you stem and move your way around!
Location
Begin at the anchors of The Invitation. Alternatively you could scramble over from the first pitch of Papillon and go around the tree island (this looks a bit awkward).
