Something In Between

5.10, TR, 25 ft (8 m),  Avg: 2 from 2 votes
FA: unknown
Texas > Mineral Wells SP > Main Canyon Left

Description

There is a solid well-attached 'flake' that starts about 7 feet above ground, angles upward and to the right, and then angles back to the left higher up. There is a line straight up the middle of the flake and up to the anchor; and another line to the right that follows the flake to its right-most curve and then goes straight up. Both feel like straight 5.10.

Location

Just right of Route #24 'Another Hand Crack'. About 8 feet left of a tall tree, and a few feet right of a dead stump 7 feet 'tall' angling out from the cliff.

Protection

Anchor bolts on top.
