Description Suggest change

"Solstice" climbs a series of step-like features, grooves, and features slabs.  This route is a great way to easily climb to the summit of Bald Mt., making for a fun, mellow outing with phenomenal views.

The route starts about 10 feet up a series of small, dirty ledges that rise from left to right.  NOTE--Up to the 1st bolt at 10 ft these ledges still need some significant cleaning of grass, etc. , as does the base of the route.

Location Suggest change

The start of the route begins about 150 feet to the left of "Late For Dinner" on the newly-dubbed "Blueberry Buttress," about 8 feet up a series of small, left-to-right rising ledges.

Protection Suggest change

10 bolts protect the route, and a double-bolt anchor is situated on a small bulge at the summit

Descent- Rap with a single 70m (see comments) or double ropes. R Hall Admin, Maine
