New Shoe Goofin

V1 R, Boulder, 20 ft (6 m),  Avg: 0.8 from 4 votes
FA: April 2020
Utah > W Desert > Oquirrh Mountains > Zion's Crag

Description

I sent this when I got my first pair of climbing shoes. It's a super mellow route with good holds and a fun kneebar practice.

Location

When approaching the crag, look more towards the left of the wall for the highest point. The start is below this. You can also look for a small overhang that you could knee bar about 1/4-1/3 of the way up the route.

[Hide Comment] Needs to be reestablished the wet winter that we had brought some pretty sizeable boulders down off this route VERY CHOSSY not great v1 to learn on! May 22, 2023
[Hide Comment] This route looks pretty sketchy. I haven't tried it. But if you do, I would go check out the top out first. There are quite a few cactuses up their. It would be a bummer to reach for one of those. Jul 23, 2025
