Description Suggest change

The crux is low, protected by the first four bolts. The easiest path through it may be a bit left of the bolt line.
You will need at least a 70 meter rope to get from the top of this route to the trail below in one rappel.

About the name: When using a hammer and chisel, to chip away at the choss, accidents sometimes happen resulting in bloody fingers and very sore hands.

Location Suggest change

This route starts on a ledge above the Riverboat Buttress… about 70 feet above the trail along the base. You can reach it by first climbing any one of the three routes which go up Riverboat Buttress, followed by easy scrambling. The  safest access is via “Proud Mary”.
