Description
Pitch 1: Climb “I Need A Shower” past the first anchor. Continue up the dihedral for 30’ to a 2 bolt anchor, 5.9, 110’.
Pitch 2: Walk across the large ledge left until you are at 3 bolt anchor, 50’.
Pitch 3: Traverse left to the arete placing finger-sized gear wherever available. Climb up at the arete, and pull the bulge on chickenheads (crux). Once above the bulge, look for small stopper placements in the thin seam. Continue up on a chickenhead face at 5.6. Look for a horizontal crack or two that take tiny cams. Continue up and right across a sloping ledge slinging trees for pro and to protect your second. Belay off a large tree way right, 5.9R, 100’.
Descent: the top two bolt chain anchor of “Bathing Beauty” is out on a point below the big tree. Two single rope rappels put you on the ground.
When I first did this route, the anchor on top of pitch 1 and 2 were not there. We belayed off the tree in the middle of the ledge.
