Description Suggest change

Overhanging crimp/pocket line. Nice movement over a gently down slope landing. Start with left hand on side pull left of arete, and right hand on blunt downpull on arete. Down climb via chimney on right side of problem.

Originally graded v5 by first ascentionist. I believe when comparing this problem with others similar in style (memento mori comes to mind) in the RR area, v4 feels more appropriate. Since the FA, there has also been a handful of new holds cleaned, several small breaks resulting in positive edges, and new beta opened by other climbers, also leading to the lowering of grade from v5 to v4. Possibility of a v5 grade for the smaller climber (likely sub 5'4" range).

Location Suggest change

Located in Ash Creek spring. Follow from kraft parking towards building foundation, follow trail down into wash, and continue on Ash Creek Spring trail for roughly 10 min, passing the large trees in bottom of wash. At the BLM trail sign, before Connectivity boulder, turn hard left up hillside. Problem will be on climbers left when facing uphill. Roughly another 5 min up the hillside. Shade most days/times.

Protection Suggest change

Several pads (3+ is ideal)
