Description Suggest change

This a formation that has formed pretty consistently. It is about 200 yards East of Rapping Ice, and the coordinates are 46.48379 -86.56135. Like Rapping Ice, you can start this at the lake and climb a short steep section, then slog a 45 degree snow ice ramp to reach the good ice. The upper part is about 75’, with the first 40’ being vertical, and the last 35’ being less than vertical.

Like many climbs along this section of shoreline, you have to work a bit through scrappy sapling on a steep slope to reach the lip. There are several decent trees up high, and a 75’ static rope will get you to the appropriate masterpoint. The top is a big ice ledge with lots of good ice for screws.
