Description
This is yet another fantastic route on the west side of Banks Lake. The first pitch is the crux offering steep WI5 climbing. The next pitch is a scramble to a short step of WI2. You could link this with pitch 1 but the rope drag might be a pain. Pitch 3 is a long pitch of WI4. There are multiple options for lines and they all offer decent rests. The crux was the gear. The ice quality on this pitch was some of the worst I have seen at Banks. The last pitch is shorter and easier (WI3) and ends on the mesa above the rock walls. Enjoy the views before rappelling back down the route.
