Access Issue: Red Rock RAIN AND WET ROCK: The sandstone is fragile and is very easily damaged when wet. Details

Description

Want a route that will give you as much attention as Brittney Spears would get from the paparazzi?  This is the route for you!  It’s facing the parking lot and everybody will be watching you as you climb so it’s well bolted to ensure safety.  Start out with a nice jugs and foot holds onto a lot of little ledges and small handholds.   Good news is that is has a slabbish angle so you can really trust your feet and move forward through the crux.  Which is about a little less than half way up the route.  Once through it, it’s a fun climb to the small crack line on the left and up to the anchors which have permadraws on it.  This is a great starter route for those projecting and is very tight bolted to help gain comfort on small tech routes since there’s so many small options.

Location

It’s on the immediate right before you walk into the gully. It’s in the sun from noon to the evening and one of the 2 routes facing the parking lot.

Protection

10 bolts plus permadraw anchors at the top
