Description

Winter and spring route up Mt. Washington. Generally trail walking, bushwhacking, and snow walking until the last portion.

Hidden gulley has some steep snow and chossy rock for a pitch.

Descent in the winter is long, recommended two 60 meter ropes to allow for full double rope rappels down snow slopes. A fair amount of face in down climbing.

GPS track of the route: https://www.gaiagps.com/map/?loc=14.1/-123.2365/47.5243&pubLink=CSudpNUCoK59DNqM6xlEwcdL&trackId=882808784c61f5b2b488b5997bd0cae1

Use the GPS track at your own risk, we got off track on the ascent from Jefferson Pass, you will likely want to continue trending west towards the drainage instead of heading up like we did.
