Description

From near the right side of the south face climb a long pitch via steep, sandy, broken rock with shallow cracks (5.7 PG13). another long pitch moving slightly left will reach the summit(mid 5th) In Beckey's guidebook he mentions a route on south face but it's rather vague, but could be the same route. fun day out.

Location

Access from the PCT via heather/scree above Joe lake

Protection

small rock rack, few runners. rappel the face(trees on top) or descend via east route
