Description Suggest change

A short mixed route right a ways right of Feeding The Rat.

An interesting start includes using the crack and some classic Hyalite conglomerate to get up to the thin ice. The further up you go the thicker the ice gets. The crack runs the whole way on the left. Ice and turf gets you up and out on your romp to a tree anchor. Left anchor material with quick links on the tree for future use.

Not the longest route but a fun little climb if The Matrix and the Feeding Routes are taken. Not a bad climb for learning some mixed climbing techniques. Maybe it gets fatter in the right conditions.

Beware of loose rock as with all new / not often climbed Hyalite routes.

Location Suggest change

Continue right a ways from the Feeding climbs. Pass the caves and small ledges walk past a small cliff band and look up hill. Just to the left of the very cool deep cave. Check it out! Approximate gps coordinates 45.439270, -110.957558

Protection Suggest change

Various sized cams will go in the crack depending on conditions. I could only get three trust worthy cams in on my lead
