Description Suggest change

A classic with both challenging ice and challenging mixed climbing. Begin right of the playground at a thin vertical column of ice, separate from the steep pillar that forms the right end of the Playground. Climb thin steep ice for 40-ish feet. From the top of the ice step right and gain the steep, shallow overhanging right-facing corner (bolts). Testy climbing awaits at the topout.

Location Suggest change

Start just right of the Playground, below the steep rock wall.

Protection Suggest change

10-13cm screws, maybe a 1-2” cam in a crack behind the ice, bolts through the upper section. Cord-o-lette or short static to build an anchor. If you’re climbing ice to warm up here you can build the anchor ahead of time up top.
