The two areas Jefferson County Open Space intends to close in Clear Creek Canyon, shown on the attached maps, encompass the active eagle nests. If the Clear Creek eagles continue to nest in the active nests, these areas will remain closed from February 1 through July 31. If the eagles choose different nesting sites, the closures will be adjusted accordingly to protect those eagles during their breeding season.
Currently, rock climbing areas that fall inside of the seasonal raptor closures include:
Blonde Formation
Bumbling Stock
Evil Area
Ghost Crag
Highlander
Skinny Legs
Stumbling Block
Tetanus Garden
Fault Caves

Description
At last, the Leprechaun Project is no more. This thing has been on my mind for over a year now. It’s as good and as scary as they come.
Start standing on a perfect, rounded jug with your feet on the overhang as well. Climb up the beautiful crack feature over the ramp, using a perfectly sculpted crimp along the way. Fingerlocks will get you into the roof, then a terrifying crux followed by a foot first sequence at 20 feet give way to an easier topout.
This thing isn’t for the faint of heart....
Location
It is across the road from Point Break crag site the Leprechaun Overhang - which hosts the singular line. Irish Rolex climbs the obvious and huge overhang above the ramp. It’s also a quarter mile downcanyon from Dark Waters.
