Description

A surprisingly long problem for a small boulder, Fort Scale-Nine traverses four different faces. The first face (the start face) is vertical, the second and third faces are 'slab,' and the final face is slightly overhanging. Poor footholds and sloping/slick handholds make the final section of the climb more difficult.

Location

The start of the route is facing the gate (the entrance to the bouldering area).

Protection

A crash pad isn't necessary, as the problem is very close to the ground.
