Description

This thing is mega! Crank up steep granite on good holds (too good?) until you can cop an uncomfortable rest just beneath the chockstone. Clip the draws on the heroic chockstone and find yourself horizontal, dead-pointing perfect chert knobs. Climb up the front side of the chock for four or five bolts to the chains. Really good granite leads into excellent limestone.

Location

Climbs up the steep granite, then transfers onto the river-side(front side) of the massive round chockstone.

[Hide Comment] This route is amazing. Seriously. Awesome moves up steep and textured granite to a no-hands stem rest against the chockstone. Then fire up the chockstone for a few more awesome moves with great exposure. Best climb I've done in the lower canyon so far. More than worth the ankle destroying scramble to get to the belay "station." Only thing that would make this route better would be if it hadn't been "helped" as much. But that's in the past.
