Description

This is an old TR drytool line just a bit right from Jensen's Crack. It jumps right on the steep face following pods, ledges, and thin cracks to a 2 bolt chain anchor. Don’t miss the killer Stein, anchor clipping pocket! The same anchor can be used for Jensen's. 4 well placed bolts guide the right edge of the route. It has seen some subtle drill modifications from a previous party but is mostly natural.

It may have many names to many different climbers. We nicknamed it Beet Juice for simplicity. This is a nice addition to the upper pillar area that typically sees much toprope gang-banging. The wall anchors save one from having to run all the way up to the toprope anchors.

Location

It is 15’ right of the upper right pillar.

Protection

4 bolts to a 2 bolt chain anchor.
