Access Issue: PARKING ALONG HIGHWAY 19 Details

**NO PARKING SIGNS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED ALONG ROUTE 19 WHERE IT HAS BEEN CUSTOMARY TO PARK FOR MEADOW RIVER CLIMBING AND BOATING ACCESS. THIS MEANS NO PARKING ALONG ROUTE 19 SOUTH, BETWEEN THE BRIDGE AND UNDERWOOD RD.

THERE IS A NEW PARKING LOT ON DIETZ ROAD OFF OF UNDERWOOD ROAD, PLEASE CARPOOL***

Description

This is route is similar to the other routes on this terrace with some easy climbing at the bottom, some harder moves in the middle, and a slopey jaunt to the top. There's a pleasant mix of edges, crimps, and slopers. Don't forget to enjoy the beautiful views at the top.

Location

This is the center sport route on a terrace between second and third buttress. This is on a separate terrace from the terrace that contains Girl in the Hornet's Nest through Transfat. It is climbers right of that terrace and climbers left of Third Buttress.

Protection

5 bolts to a bolted anchor. Although the climbing is very easy, there's a runout between the first and second bolt. I placed a 0.75 cam between them, but there are other gear possibilities as well. Gear is not necessary though if you're comfortable with a run-out on easy terrain.
