Description
Another big beauty of a sport climb on impeccable granite. Traverses above the lip of a large roof then tackles several boulder problems leading to a full rest below the final roof. Strike the gong and hold on for glory.
Location
Several recently bolted and unlisted options lead up to this fully bolted extension. Start below a beautiful unbolted arete and follow bolts just left of the arete (11a), further left 10(a) with some gear, or right of the arete (10a) and either stop at some new midway anchors or link straight into the bolts traversing hard right above the large roof.
Protection
12 draws and 8 slings to manage rope drag. Lower to midway anchors. Knot your ends
10 bolts in the uppers and 10 bolts in the lowers. You can use a couple pieces of gear for alternative and quality other options to get up there. You can lower with an 80m and a knotted end to a ledge about 20 feet off the ground and an easy scramble down.
