Description Suggest change

The Black Ark is another great and wildly overhanging line at the Aircraft Carrier Boulders. Start sitting on some hand jams, then move up into a powerful sequence of positive (but sharp!) fingerlocks, eventually gaining some good hands again for a while. Top out by moving right onto the arete, and finish on a jug rail/easy chimney, which is another 15 feet or so of easy climbing to the top.

People with smaller hands might be able to get handjams at the beginning.

Location Suggest change

This boulder is on private propery, please respect the landowners so we can continue to have access to this great area.

On the west side of the western Aircraft Carrier Boulder, it's in a massive cave. The best way to get to it is to go above the eastern Aircraft Carrier Boulder, traverse towards the west, and then drop down into the massive cave. GPS coordinates are: 39.4158225, -105. 2681033.

Protection Suggest change

2-4 pads and a spotter. Tape your fingers and hands, this boulder bites.
