Description Suggest change

One of the few protectable moderate routes we found while exploring the bay. Someone has to have climbed this before but we saw no evidence of recent ascents. Rock quality was surprisingly decent compared with the rest of the cliff bands.

The route, as we climbed it, includes two short pitches with the first pitch following a fun left-facing open book for ~40ft to a large ledge and the second pitch heading a bit right to a wider ~30ft crack / scramble to a grassy top out. Great views at the top.

A bit difficult to describe given all the different cliff bands at the bay. And not viewable from the beach below. Requires a series of scrambles to reach from the beach. Or, can hike up the trail to the top of the cliff climber’s left and rap / downclimb from the cleared area at the top of the cliff.
