Description Suggest change

Cracked Pedestal is the result of too much table dancing ....  The route casually follows the continuous crack system stepping past the short, fist crack bulge. Then trend left through a series of thin, intermittent cracks towards the anchor above Rosewood. Alternately, above the short fist crack bulge, it is possible to continue straight up steeper crack and stemming, and finish with a hard traverse left to the Rosewood anchor.

Location Suggest change

From where Sawmill Crag trail first encounters the wall, walk downhill  to the lowest part of the wall about 30 feet. The route starts in the first continuous crack system just right of the rounded arete at ground level.

Protection Suggest change

Gear to about 4", slings, and shared anchors above Rosewood.
