Yosemite National Park has yearly closures for Peregrine Falcon Protection March 1- July 15. Always check the NPS website at nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/… for the most current details and park alerts, and to learn more about the peregrine falcon, and how closures help it survive. This page also shares closures and warnings due to current fires, smoke, etc.
Description
Start from the ramp at a horn below the obvious 4' roof crack. Work upward toward the roof, following the easiest line (5.7/8). Surmount the roof and get into the dihedral on solid jams. Move up to easier ground and a Fixe ring anchor slightly left.
Location
From the edge of the forest skirt the NE facing wall for about 100' then look for a prominent roof/left facing corner about 120' up (pic shows this feature well). Climb 4th/easy 5th class rock to a left upward sloping, sandy ramp. Alternately, climb 'Smashfinger's Big Day Out' and move right/N from the anchor to the ramp.
