Description Suggest change

IAW climbs a wide variety of holds, and the foot work is unique. A mandatory natural solid stein just before the tree is excellent. Did I mention there’s EVEN MORE TREE CLIMBING?!?

The bolt protection is slim in spots, after the lip and on the tree you are about 10 ft out, that whip would be really bad. The technical crux is probably done before clipping the 4th bolt, I fell on lead the first go and got a decent rope burn. Safe fall from there, though. Second go and it went!

The torque crack to clip the second bolt requires a big heel hook. If you blow the second clip you’re going to flip over upside down and deck.

The big leaning cedar, left side.

Protection Suggest change

7 bolts, 1 fixed knifeblade. Chain anchors at the top. I would suggest an alpine draw for the knifeblade as it sits behind an edge.
