The Hood and The Balcony can technically be accessed via the North Loop trail, though this would be a ludicrously long approach.

Description

Somewhat thoughtful and balancy climbing over a series of bulges on textured blue-gray limestone leads to a decent rest under a small overhang. Hit the right sequence to pull the overhang onto a short techy face trending slightly left to the anchor.

This route is listed as "Speed Bump" in the 2021 Mojave Limestone guidebook.
