[Hide Comment] Little bit o' history for the record: Joe put up this route with Drew Mack last summer (2020), and they proposed the grade of 5.13a (haha!). Both of these guys are professionals who specialize in climbing steep shit in the range of 5.14+ and beyond. No doubt it's trickier for them to discern 13a from 13b. I talked to Drew about it, and he told me that they decided on the grade after they both sent the route on their second try after equipping it. I sussed the beta before the season closed out last fall but didn't get a real chance to redpoint. Since I'm a middling 5.13 peon who happened to be climbing about as well as ever at the time, I feel confident saying this route is at least 13b and maybe a touch harder. As long as the holds don't crumble and the munge doesn't grow back, Diddybop is effing fun! I'm looking forward to getting back on it.
