Description

I think it was Big Daddy Kane, an avid climber in his own right, who said “Crimpin’ ain’t easy.”  Single pad crimps and smears the whole way up, stay in crimpin’ school and stay off the crack(s) (except to place pro).

Location

This route up the face, between the first and second vertical cracks to the right of the overpass, is short and to the point.

Protection

Tricams work well in the horizontal cracks, if you choose to go up next to the vertical crack, BD#1s are your friend.
