Description Suggest change

Approach via the Pacific Crest Trail or Shorthorn trail. Ascend the glacier on the right side under normal conditions. The route is climbed in late spring, is primarily moderate and steep snow, and sometimes has a headwall with alpine ice. The majority of the route can be simul-climbed, and is protectable with pickets and a running belay if necessary. Descend via the south side or the adjacent snowfield.

Location Suggest change

Starts at the Morrison Creek campground or PCT trailhead. There's good camping near Madcat Meadow or Salt Creek, and you can start the ascent from there.
